Abigail joined Local Pensions Partnership Administration (LPPA) in November 2020 as Finance Director. She expanded her role to become Director of Finance, People & Culture in April 2023.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team at LPPA, Abigail is responsible for ensuring LPPA provides a cost-effective, high-quality service to its 18 public sector clients, with over 660,000 members and more than 1,300 active employers across Local Government, Police and Firefighter pension schemes.
Her main focus is on assisting with the delivery of LPPA’s business plan. An integral part of this is ensuring that LPPA has the right people strategy to support the business, while continuing to make sure LPPA is a great place to work. She was also heavily involved in LPPA’s digital transformation project to move over to a new pension administration system.
Abigail has over 20 years’ experience as a finance professional in both the public and private sector, with over 13 years in the pensions industry. This includes six years as Head of the Lancashire County Pension Fund and S151 Officer for the London Pensions Fund Authority (LPFA).
